Backlash is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment, which started in 1999 and is held normally in April (with the exception of 2005). From 2004 to 2006, the event was exclusive to the RAW brand.
The 2007 event was the first PPV since 2002 (other than the “Big Four” PPV events) to feature all three brands (RAW, Smackdown! and ECW) after WWE stopped doing brand-exclusive events.
Backlash (2008) will be the tenth annual Backlash professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It will take place on April 27, 2008 from the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland and will feature talent from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The tagline for the event is “Every Action Deserves a Fierce and Aggressive Reaction.” The official theme song is “All Summer Long” by Kid Rock.
