The 24-hour commercial-free movie channel network HBO Asia has re-branded its Cinemax channel as Max from 29th March 2009
Starting from 29th March Max channel to show action, suspense and thriller movies with some boxing programs in the mix meant to attract men 18 years old and up.
Max Preview
Mondays will be Max Twilight which takes viewers into the realm of the unknown, science-fiction, horror and fantasy.
Tuesdays will be Fan boy which features cult movies.
Wednesdays will be Max Icon which showcases performances by Hollywood superstars.
Thursdays will be Max Thriller, a feast of mystery, suspense and thriller based productions.
Fridays to Sundays will be reserved for Max Action, featuring pure action movies.
New additions to the line-up include series such as the Golden Globe-winning vampire drama True Blood starring Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, which premieres on April 9 at 10pm; and celebrated police drama The Wire in May.
Max (Cinemax) channel is available on all Satellite TV Providers in Sri Lanka.
