Just three months after hitting the 150 million user milestone in January, World No 1 Social Network Facebook confirmed yesterday (April 7, 2009) that the site has crossed another major milestone: 200 million active users.

According to internet sources; on average, Facebook has added nearly half a million users per day, every day, since late August. In February this year, Hit-wise recorded a 149% increase in the number of U.S. visits to Facebook compared with February, 2008.
