Short while ago Dialog TV has sent an automated message to all their subscribers (including us) regarding the Set Top Box software upgrading.
Seems the new version of the software is available for upgrading from now onwards till 31st of this month.
After the manual upgrading (Just now) we have noticed some changes, and please check below for details.
• Fast 7 day EPG access
• While watching a channel/ programme, you can access other channels EPG
• Improvement in Pause option
• Zoom option is working fine
• Sound level issues are almost gone
• Advance Channels Favorite list with new look
Following the below steps you can also manually upgrade the software to your decoder (Set Top Box).
OLD Black Decoder
Menu – IRD upgrade – Press OK
OLD Silver Decoder
Menu – Installation – OTA Download – Press OK
New MPEG4 Decoder
Menu – Info – Software Upgrade – Press OK
Please note; do not power OFF or Unplug during the upgrading – This may harm your decoder.
