World No. 1 Video website YouTube today revealed it had passed a new milestone by serving up over 1 billion video streams a day.
If you click on YouTube.com, you will see that its logo has changed to show that the site gets “1 billion hits. A day”
According to YouTube statistics the site now provides 42 million video streams every hour or 700,000 every minute.
Commenting on the news, CEO and co-founder of YouTube Chad Hurley said, "This is a great moment in our short history and we owe it all to you."
