Produced by Vikram Krishna of GK Film Corporation and directed by Saba Iyappan, Vishal’s Thoranai looks like some Hollywood movie. The filmmakers have made sure Vishal looks completely different in the film.

Thoranai, which is simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu (as Pistha) star beautiful and sexy Shriya Saran opposite Vishal. Prakash Raj and Kishore play crucials role. Music is by Mani Sharma.

Thoranai has been shot in exotic locales and magnificent sets built in Chennai and Hyderabad. The film has spectacular stunts, hilarious comedy track, and heart melting romance.

Rajadhi Raja features Lawrence Raghavendra in the company of six heroines Meenakshi, Snigdha, Mumtaz, Samiksha, Kiran and Kamna Jethamalani. All heroines have an equal part to play in the movie and everyone has got enough scope to show their talent.

Though the movie’s title is inspired by yesteryear Rajnikanth hit this film is not a remake. The first half of the film is going to be a laugh riot, while the second half will be full of action.

Dhina has composed the music, while Perarasu has written lyrics for it. The rest of the cast includes Karunaas, Paravai Muniamma, Yugendhran, Bose Venkat, Mayilsamy. The other credits are Suresh devan (cinematography), Kanal Kannan (stunts) and Vijaya Murugan (art). Shakthi Chidambaram has directed this movie apart from penning the story, screenplay and dialogues.

After Billa, director Vishnuvardhan is back with Sarvam, a breezy musical love story — a genre that is completely different from his pervious films.

Sarvam film starts Arya and Trish in lead roles. Sarvam movie is produced by Ayngaran International. Malayalam actor Indrajith Sukumaran does a key role along with actor-director J.D.Chakravarthy. The Sarvvam film has been shot in various locations all across the country. Music for Sarvam has been scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja who has tuned five songs for the movie.

Maddy is a result-oriented young man, passionately dedicated to achieving his goals in life. In addition to his extra smartness to grab a favorable opportunity to settle in life. For him, the job will mark the end of his toil.

Modern Miss Mamta too is ambitious, focussed and full of vim and vigour. Mamta too is ready to put in a bit of her charm and skills to move up the corporate ladder. Both embark upon a job hunt. Both get jobs in a prominent company and begin to like each other`s company. Soon, their fledgling romance gets interrupted.

Abbas, the MD of the company, has a clandestine weakness for pretty women and soon falls for gorgeous Mamta. Mamta, who was initially reluctant , subsequently accepts his advances, calculating the prospective benefits.

The situations becomes too gauche to handle when Abbas chooses Maddy to be the Ambassador for his affair. But using Abbas as an tool, Maddy and Mamta join forces and make wise plans to remove to the top.

Does Abbas come to know about the understanding between Maddy and Mamta? Does he treat his relationship with Mamta seriously? What problems do the love birds face?

Academy awarded won British film “Slumdog Millionaire” now showing at majestic cinema, Bambalapitiya.

Slumdog Millionaire tells the story of a young man from the slums of Mumbai who appears on the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and exceeds people’s expectations, arousing the suspicions of the game show host and of law enforcement officials.

Slumdog Millionaire was nominated for ten Academy Awards in 2009 and won eight, the most for any film of 2008, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Film Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Original Song.

The movie also won five Critics’ Choice Awards, four Golden Globes, and seven BAFTA Awards, including Best Film. Slumdog Millionaire has stirred controversy concerning language use, its portrayals of Indians and Hinduism, and the welfare of its child actors.

The film is Ananda Thandavam based on the novel ‘Pirivom Sandhippom’, written by the late legendary writer Sujatha. G.V. Prakash Kumar scores the music, and directed by Gandhi Krishna elder son of producer A.M. Rathnam.

Newcomer Siddharth is paired opposite the hot and happening Thamana in this film. Ruckmani will be the other heroine in the film. The film is about a young software professional who gets disillusioned with the mechanized American lifestyle. Venki, Kitty, Rishi, Madan Bob, Charlie, Balasingh and Kalairani are also in the film.

Dragonball Evolution English Movie Now showing at Liberty Cinema – Kollupotiya.

Dragonball: Evolution is based on the popular Japanese manga created by Akira Toriyama, whose work spawned best selling graphic novels, video games and a phenomenally successful television series.

Justin Chatwin was cast as Goku, and James Marsters portrays Lord Piccolo, the antagonist of the film. A video game of the same name will be released in April for the PSP.

The story centers around the adventures of the lead character, Goku, around his 18th birthday. The film began development in 2002, and is directed by James Wong and produced by Stephen Chow. It was released in Japan and several other Asian nations on March 13, 2009.
