PEO TV adds Swarnavahini and YA Sri Lanka

PEO TV has successfully adds Swarnavahini and YA Sri Lanka channels to their lineup form Friday, May 29, 2009.

According to PEO TV sources Swarnavahini channel is available with Time Shifted TV (TSTV) enabled and you can watch missed programs within two days on PEO TV.

Swarnavahini, is a leading Sri Lankan news and entertainment channel owned by E.A.P. Edirisingha (Pvt) Ltd. It was founded in the 1990′s along with sister channel ETV. Dialog TV Software upgrading Announcement

Short while ago Dialog TV has sent an automated message to all their subscribers (including us) regarding the Set Top Box software upgrading.

Seems the new version of the software is available for upgrading from now onwards till 31st of this month.

After the manual upgrading (Just now) we have noticed some changes, and please check below for details.

• Fast 7 day EPG access
• While watching a channel/ programme, you can access other channels EPG
• Improvement in Pause option
• Zoom option is working fine
• Sound level issues are almost gone
• Advance Channels Favorite list with new look

Following the below steps you can also manually upgrade the software to your decoder (Set Top Box).

OLD Black Decoder
Menu – IRD upgrade – Press OK

OLD Silver Decoder
Menu – Installation – OTA Download – Press OK

New MPEG4 Decoder
Menu – Info – Software Upgrade – Press OK

Please note; do not power OFF or Unplug during the upgrading – This may harm your decoder.

Leverage TV Series premieres on AXN-ASIA from 18th May

Tune in to a brand new first season of Leverage premieres exclusively on AXN-ASIA from 6th April 2009 at 06.30PM SL/9PM SG/PIL Time.

Leverage follows a Los Angeles-based team of thieves, computer experts and con artists, headed up by former insurance investigator Nate Ford, who use their skills to right corporate and governmental injustices visited on the little person.

The series is produced by director/executive producer Dean Devlin’s production company Electric Television.

Damages Season 2 premieres on AXN-ASIA from 6th April

After clinching the Golden Globe and Emmy awards for her riveting portrayal of cutthroat veteran attorney Patty Hewes, Glenn Close is back to show off her acting prowess.

This season, she’s reunited with William Hurt after their last collaboration in 1983’s The Big Chill. Hurt appears as Daniel Purcell, a brilliant scientist with an intriguing piece of personal history with Patty. He comes to her for help in a domestic murder case, which soon spirals into a tangled conspiracy involving powerful and sinister businessmen.

Not to be outshone is Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne), Patty’s bright, ambitious young protégé who was thrust into the ruthless, back-stabbing world of high-stakes litigation last season (and lost her beloved fiancé in the process) and has now returned hardened and cynical. What do you do when you believe your boss has made an attempt on your life? Ellen has much on her plate, with another of her arch nemesis, Frobisher, coming back to life after surviving his near-fatal gunshot incident in last season’s finale. As the one who murdered her fiancé, Frobisher is a prime target in Ellen’s revenge plan, executed with some unexpected help from Wes Krulik (Timothy Olyphant), a mysterious loner who befriends Ellen in a grief counseling session.

Indeed, as the Los Angeles Times proclaims, the convoluted relationship dynamics, the scheming characters and the brilliant acting makes the new season of Damages “a siren song of television to which, we, our beloved multitasking forgotten, can only surrender once again.”

Prison Break Final Season Returns April 17

Good NEWS for all PRISON BREAK Fans. The fourth season is Prison Break’s final season and it will return on April 17, 2009 to complete its season.

According to TVGuide (www.tvguide.com), Fox president Kevin Reilly explained, “Prison Break got to a point where a lot of the stories had been told.” At least six hours of the drama are left to go, with the possibility of a few more hours added as Reilly said he wants the program to “finish strong.” Earlier this year, Fox announced the series will be ending at the conclusion of this season.

Prison Break aired its 16th episodes “Winter Finale” on December 22, 2008.
